The S.S.D. exhibit curated by Jerry Fiore and Curtis Franklin consisted of Classic Photographs, Magazines, Stickers, T-Shirts, Video Footage, Skateboards, Custom Clothing and other one of a kind memorabilia from over 25 contributors. With enough contributions to have filled more than two gallery locations, hanging this exhibit soon became larger than a two man job. Starting Friday Night at 8pm we enlisted the help of a few friends and worked until 3am then got just enough sleep to be back at it by 8am Saturday morning. With the help of friends Pat Milo, Snaggle, Ronnie Marshall, Sarah Shusta, Ronnie Leavitt and Gio we were able to have the show hung just in time for the doors to open that evening.
Moments before the opening night of the Sacto Skate Damage gallery exhibition.

The gallery contained over 350 punk flyers, Zine pages and Classic Ad’s and more than 1200 snapshots and photographs.

Snapshots from contributors Sam Cunningham, Ricky Winsor, Dean Thompson adorn the five large Gallery walls.

Skate Zines and Punk flyers from contributors Snaggle, Nathan Carrico, Brian Bozzo, Brett Cowan, Curtis Franklin and Steve Borek.

Snapshots from contributors Ronnie Marshall, Snaggle, Brendan Simmons, Brian Bozzo, Jesse Nichols, Curtis Franklin, Jerry Fiore, Ronnie Leavitt, Dave Osborn, Jesse Rutheford and Corey Shoals.

Over 30 Original Sacto and friends boards collected from Ricky Winsor, Brett Cowan, Gus Coronel, Dave Osborn, Brian Bozzo, Snaggle, Curtis Franklin and Jerry Fiore.

The boards weren’t the only thing hanging upside down from the ceiling the night…..
(If you were there, you know what we’re talking about!)

The Sacto Shrine included seldom seen memorabilia and a tribute to Troy Clower.

Some of the other items included were Doggin’s Sock Monkey “One Tough Dummy”. Original Transworld photograph of Ronnie Marshal that evolved into the TWS logo. A few of Ricky’s contest trophy’s and a once blood soaked hat belonging to Dean but worn by Rats Ass at the time of the soaking.

Park Cards collected from over 15 skate parks from the era. Along with published photos from photographers such as Hunter Kimball, Tobin Yelland, Bryce Kanights and Mike Chantry.

Club Minimal photo’s contributed by Logan Murray and Stewart Katz and the famed long board from the “High Rollers” local news spot circa 1987.
